Associated with cancer, and with iron overload, concepts developed together with Prof. Avi Domb (IDR) and Prof. Rachel Nechushtai (Biochemistry, HUJI). 1.8 Million molecules were screened and 650 top candidates were reduced by diversity, 34 molecules were sent for testing and 5 were found to be novel iron chelators with high potential. Published (2016) and patented.
Currently, two Angiotensin Receptor blockers are examined.
